Covid-19 Update

Dear Valued Patients,

Please know your overall health and wellness has always been our top priority. With emerging information regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the CDC and both national and state optometric associations have strongly recommended the immediate discontinuation of routine eye care exams. Starting Monday, March 23rd, and until further notice, both our offices in Wamego and Manhattan will be postponing and rescheduling these at a later date once deemed safe.

This is a decision we do not make easily. However, considering these unprecedented times, extreme fluidity, and now more nearby confirmed cases the safety of our patients, staff, and community members is of the utmost importance.

We will still be available to treat any emergency cases and our office will have a procedure of triage by phone available at either office.

This includes: flashes/floaters, red/painful/watery eyes, trauma to the eye/orbit, vision loss/decrease, foreign body injuries.

If it is after hours there will be a doctor’s phone number available to call.

While our doors will be closed to the public, we will have a small staff at each office available to answer phone calls concerning scheduling, medication refills, and ordering contacts to get you by until we can resume normal healthcare. Our phone hours will be 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in both offices.
